Cannot leave DAY THREE without the Poise which was made by the incredible Rosemary Hughes. The story behind it is purely spine chilling and amazing.

The 1485 Poise for Richard III

Having completed the first coffin design, Rosemary counted up the stems she needed to have exactly the same for the other tribute when completing it on Thursday early morning. She had 13 stems plus one large stemmed rose which made 14, Peta just out of curiosity said let's count the small white blooms of roses. Very eiry! There were 85 small white rose that were in the centre of the coffin design. This wasn't done on purpose, it just happened so 14 stems and 85 blooms = 1485 That's the story
